Art critism

Art critism is making critical judgements about a specfic work of art. Art critics professional give out their verdict in different way these may be:

A newspaper reporter or journalist which is written for the genral public, includes reviews of art exhibitions in art gallerys and museums, who is assigned to the art beat,

A scholar writing for professional journals or texts, which are written for a more specialized art audience and appears in art journals.

Or an artist writing about other artists. 

For me doing art and design when we are criticing other peers work and giving constructive criticism we do this by peer assesment and also books. Art critism started in the 18th century the first person to name it art critism was jonathan richardson he decided to create a system on judging art work and that would be by severn categorys including drawing, composition, and colouring. These are then given a score between 0-18 which where put together to give a final score. We was then told to pick a critic to follow on social media i have choosen matthew collings.
